In an effort to boost sports performance in the Pan American region and prepare athletes for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games Qualifier, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, becomes the epicenter of athletic excellence by hosting the Olympic Camp. This event, supported by the International Olympic Committee's International Olympic Solidarity Program, together with the World Taekwondo and the Pan American Taekwondo Union, aims to provide competitors with the ideal scenario to achieve the desired Olympic qualification.

The camp, led by coaches Young In Bang and Dongwan Lee, offers a world-class training platform where athletes can improve their skills and tactics ahead of the crucial Paris Olympic Qualifier. With two spots available per weight division, the competition is intense and each training session becomes an invaluable opportunity for the participants.

Juan Manuel Lopez, president of the Pan American Taekwondo Union, expressed his satisfaction and joy for the accomplishment of this camp. "We are really excited to be able to provide this invaluable opportunity to the teams looking to secure their place in the Olympic Games. This camp not only represents a crucial moment in the athletes' preparation, but also a milestone in the development of taekwondo in our region."

The camp participants come from different countries in the Pan American region, each with their own Olympic history and dreams. From promising youngsters to experienced athletes, they all share the same goal: to represent their nations on the biggest stage of world sport.
