"It is an honor for me to have the presence of Dr. Chungwon Choue, president of World Taekwondo, as well as each of the leaders of the 17 countries present here. You are a key and fundamental piece in all this management that intends to leave a great legacy for the Pan American area", was part of the speech to the LAE attendees. Juan Manuel López Delgado, president of PATU and vice-president of WT.

During the Pan American Family Dinner, the leaders, pioneers and precursors of taekwondo in the Americas were recognized, as was done months ago in the framework of the Central American and Caribbean Games San Salvador 2023, in the sub venue of Santo Domingo.

In this context, the Grand Masters and Masters were recognized for making taekwondo an apostolate:

▶️ MAESTRO MIGUEL FLAVIO FIGUEROA VELOSO, CHILE
▶️MAESTRO FRANCISCO CARVALLO CASTRO, ECUADOR
